Article II Presidential requirement

Our Founding Fathers wrote the Article II Presidential requirement as requiring the President to be a Citizen, Then re-thought it and decided that the Commander in Chief (President) should not have any foreign influence and they changed it to require that the President be a Natural Born Citizen. At that time they knew that a Natural Born Citizen had two American citizen parents at the time of birth.

For over 200 years that held true. Then the democrats came along and decided that was too strict and tried over 8 times to change the requirement to “Citizen”. They failed. Then Mr. Obama came along and since they couldn’t change the Constitution, they changed the meaning.

Like the old saying goes (I forget who said it): Tell a lie long enough and people will begin to believe it.
